I.M to enlist in the military in February, confirmed to join MONSTA X tour before enlistment

I.M is set to enlist on February 9, when he will enter a military training center to undergo basic training before serving as an active-duty soldier in the Army.
No official event will be held on the day of his enlistment. Starship Entertainment stated, “To ensure safety at the site, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting.”
I.M has previously suffered from persistent back pain. Last summer, his condition worsened to the point that he temporarily halted activities to focus on treatment. Fortunately, his health has since shown significant improvement.
Starship Entertainment explained, “I.M has consistently undergone rehabilitation treatment, and he recently received medical clearance indicating that he can participate in performances as long as he does not overexert himself.”
Ahead of his enlistment, I.M will take part in MONSTA X’s upcoming full-group world tour. From January 30 to February 1, the group will perform at Seoul’s KSPO Dome as part of the ‘2026 MONSTA X World Tour ‘THE X: NEXUS.’'
The agency added, “Taking the artist’s health into consideration, he will participate in the concerts within a manageable range. We kindly ask for fans’ understanding and support.”
