by K-Soul · allkpopSHINee member and solo artist Taemin will host an exhibition at the Grammy Museum in the United States this April, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to hold a solo display at the institution.
On March 19, Billboard spotlighted the exhibition under the headline, “Taemin Exhibit Coming to Grammy Museum Ahead of His Coachella Debut.” The exhibition, titled 'Taemin: Performer. Artist. Icon' will run from April 1 to May 25 at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. It is designed to reflect on and honor Taemin’s journey as a singer-songwriter and dancer.
According to Billboard, the Grammy Museum recognized Taemin’s career and impact, prompting the decision to feature him as the first K-pop solo artist in a solo exhibition. Curator Kelsey Golds commented, “Taemin is a true artist whose influence extends beyond the stage. His unique performances, innovative style, and artistic vision have propelled K-pop to global prominence. We are honored to showcase his iconic stage outfits and props that celebrate his artistry and cultural impact.”
The exhibition will feature two red and black outfits worn during Taemin’s Ephemeral Gaze World Tour, an all-white outfit from his 'Veil' concert, and appearances on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show,' as well as in-ear monitors, microphones, light sticks, and other props that accompanied him on stage. Additionally, handwritten letters from Taemin to his fans will be on display.

The exhibition is also expected to energize North American fans ahead of Taemin’s dazzling debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, this April—the largest music festival in the U.S.
