NCT WISH has become a million-seller for the first time with their latest release.

On April 14(KST), NCT WISH released their second mini-album poppop, which sold 1,087,839 copies in its first week, according to Hanteo Chart.

This marks a new personal record for the group’s first-week sales. Their previous release, debut mini-album Steady, recorded 790,000 first-week sales—showing an increase of nearly 300,000 albums.

This also marks NCT WISH’s first time achieving million-seller status since their debut. The group made their debut in March 2024 with WISH, which sold 280,000 copies. Their latest release shows a steady upward trend in popularity.

That’s not all. poppop also swept major album charts, ranking No. 1 on weekly charts including Hanteo Chart, Hottracks, Yes24, Aladin, and Circle Chart Retail Albums.

Pre-orders for poppop surpassed 1.21 million copies. The title track reached No. 2 on Melon’s “Hot 100” (within 30 days of release) and No. 2 on Korea’s YouTube Trending Music chart.

The song is making waves across Asia. It topped Japan’s AWA real-time rising chart and YouTube trending videos, and placed No. 3 on China’s QQ Music rising chart.

Meanwhile, NCT WISH is set to appear on KBS Cool FM’s Lee Eun Ji’s Gayo Plaza on April 21(KST).
