Tiffany Young reveals love story with Byun Yo Han “He reached out first”

Girls' Generation member Tiffany Young opened up for the first time about her love story with actor Byun Yo Han, sharing how their relationship began and expressing her happiness.

On March 13, a video titled 'A Love-Filled Spring Day at Nespresso Café ♥ Barista Poong’s Recipe (with Tiffany)' was released on the JTBC Entertainment YouTube channel. In the video, Tiffany sat down for a conversation with Kim Poong, where she naturally spoke about her relationship with Byun Yo Han.

When Kim Poong cautiously mentioned Byun Yo Han and wondered if it was appropriate to talk about him, Tiffany responded with ease, saying, “It’s okay. We should talk about it once,” before sharing the story behind their romance.

Tiffany revealed that she first developed a positive impression of Byun Yo Han while working on the drama 'Uncle Samsik.' Although they worked together during the production, the two later met again some time after filming had ended.

“After filming 'Uncle Samsik,' we met again much later,” Tiffany recalled. “I thought he was such a wonderful person and hoped we would have another opportunity to meet.” She admitted that she even worried they might not meet again because of his professionalism. “He is extremely professional, so I was concerned that we might not get the chance to meet again,” she said. “But we communicated very well, even when talking about work.”

According to Tiffany, their relationship developed when Byun Yo Han took the initiative to reach out first. “He has great leadership qualities, so he contacted me first,” she shared. “Thanks to that, we were able to share this happy news.” Tiffany concluded by expressing gratitude toward fans who have supported the couple. “Thank you so much for all the interest and love,” she said.

Meanwhile, Tiffany and Byun Yo Han became legally married last month after registering their marriage without holding a formal wedding ceremony. The couple is reportedly considering holding a small and simple ceremony at a later time.

Tiffany also explained why the two connect so well as a couple. “Our tastes in movies, hobbies, and fashion are very similar,” she said. “We respect and support each other, which is why our relationship has continued so naturally.” With a bright smile, she added, “I’m happy,” expressing her excitement and joy about her married life.
