TWICE Sana's 'wardrobe malfunction' dress is revealed to have been previously worn by Somi

Amidst the buzz surrounding TWICE Sana's recent 'no-pants wardrobe malfunction', it's been discovered that Jeon Somi had previously worn the same dress - drawing renewed attention.

On June 18, Sana attended a pop-up event for 'TEAZEN X TWICE Kombucha Lab', wearing a white mini-dress with a floral pattern. At first, it appeared to be a strapless dress, but the dress's unique design reveals a bodysuit underneath. In particular, the short, asymmetrical cut of the dress created an optical illusion from certain angles, making it look as though her underwear was exposed and sparking controversy.

As controversy grew surrounding the "wardrobe malfunction," Sana herself personally addressed the situation. She revealed that she hadn't known the dress would appear to be that revealing, saying, "See, when I originally fitted for the outfit, it was worn without the top piece tucked in. But when it was time to come out for the appearance, I didn't have a chance to check myself in the mirror so I didn't realize the front was open like that. I only saw it when I came back into the waiting room... I was already upset that I couldn't wear it the way it was supposed to be from the fitting, and now I'm more upset that there's a lot of buzz. It was soon discovered that Jeon Somi had also appeared in this controversial dress, wearing it to a brand event during Paris Fashion Week last year. She gained attention for her dramatically different styling choices than Sana, creating a chic, high-fashion look as opposed to Sana's lovely, charming aesthetic.
