RIIZE’s Shotaro participates in upcoming activities in limited capacity following ankle injury

According to the agency, Shotaro sustained the injury during a performance at an overseas event. After undergoing a detailed medical examination at the hospital, he was diagnosed with a torn ankle ligament. He is currently recovering while wearing a semi-cast and receiving regular outpatient treatment.
Despite the injury, Shotaro will still attend the scheduled events, including the May 8 Incheon National University festival, the May 10 Japan Kstyle Party, and the May 14 Sogang University and Soongsil University festivals. However, he will not be participating in choreography or dance performances on stage.
The decision was made after discussions with Shotaro and in accordance with medical advice, which states that while daily activities are possible, he should refrain from intense dancing and prioritize rest and recovery. The agency added that it will fully support his recovery process and asked fans for their understanding.
