Seventeen’s DK and Seungkwan warm up winter night with ‘Live In Blue’ fan party

Seventeen’s vocal unit DK and Seungkwan shared a cozy winter night with fans through a special fan party.

On January 18, DK and Seungkwan held a fan party titled ‘Live In Blue’ at CG Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, celebrating the release of their first mini album ‘Serenade.’ The two filled nearly two hours with heartfelt talk segments and rich live performances, fully captivating fans.

The pair surprised fans by swapping solo songs on the spot, showcasing contrasting vocal tones and flawless a cappella singing. Fans responded with thunderous cheers, while a memorable moment unfolded as CARATs completed the viral “Blue” vocal challenge with a full-group singalong harmony.

DK and Seungkwan shared their thoughts, saying the fan party made it feel like they were wrapping up promotions on a meaningful note and allowed them to feel even closer to fans. They also hinted that more content is still on the way. After completing the scheduled program, the duo moved throughout the venue to perform an encore of “Guilty Pleasure,” maintaining eye contact with fans and displaying their deep affection until the very end.

Meanwhile, following the release of ‘Serenade’ on January 12, the title track “Blue” has been gaining major traction. The song climbed Korea’s YouTube Trending Music chart before reaching No. 1 on January 18. A duet challenge featuring DK and Seungkwan has also gone viral on social media, helping “Blue” top Instagram’s Rising Audio chart, an uncommon feat for a ballad.

The momentum continues as DK and Seungkwan released the epilogue version music video for “Blue” on January 19. Their variety show appearances are also lined up, with DK set to appear as a guest on Seungkwan’s web variety show on January 22, followed by Seungkwan making an appearance on another web series on January 23.
