Lovelyz reunite as a full group at the 2025 KBS Song Festival Global Festival

Lovelyz shared their heartfelt emotions after reuniting as a complete group at the 2025 KBS Song Festival Global Festival.

The live broadcast of the 2025 KBS Song Festival Global Festival aired on December 19.

Launched under the theme “K-pop, the Key Driver of Global Culture,” this year’s festival brought together a wide-ranging lineup: global K-pop artists who have elevated the genre’s international standing, K-bands delivering pulse-pounding live sounds, and K-trot singers igniting excitement and emotion. The event showcased the breadth and power of Korean music across generations and genres.

A total of 25 artists took part, including CNBLUE, 10CM, Roy Kim, Park Seo Jin, Jannabi, Lovelyz, Dayoung, NCT Dream, Mark, Haechan, The Boyz, fromis_9, Lee Chan Won, P1Harmony, STAYC, aespa, LE SSERAFIM, tripleS, Kiss of Life, n.SSign, EVNNE, Close Your Eyes, HITGS, Baby Don’t Cry, and AHOF, delivering dynamic performances that broke down boundaries between styles and eras.

In addition, some of today’s hottest girl groups amped up the excitement with special stages reviving iconic K-pop hits. fromis_9 reinterpreted AOA’s “Short Hair,” reinventing the track in their own color. The song, which resurfaced on the charts this year thanks to viral short-form challenges, was reborn with fromis 9’s distinct charm. Kiss of Life further proved their reputation as performance powerhouses with a bold rendition of Miss A’s “Bad Girl Good Girl.”

The highlight of the night, however, was Lovelyz, who returned as a full group and stirred nostalgia with their beloved hit “Ah Choo,” a song cherished across generations. Continuing the momentum, they delivered an impassioned performance of “Twinkle,” rounding out a rich and emotionally resonant stage.

Following their performance, the members of Lovelyz shared their thoughts. Celebrating their 11th debut anniversary this year, they expressed gratitude for their enduring support, saying, “Even as time passes, people continue to love our music. Lovelinus from all across the country has supported us every step of the way, and we’re truly thankful.”
