YH Entertainment releases cryptic statement regarding the future activities of ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao, Ricky, Gyuvin, and Yujin, sparking concern from fans
by KatL903 · allkpopYH Entertainment (formerly known as Yuehua) has just released a new statement updating fans on the future activities of ZEROBASEONE members Zhang Hao, Ricky, Gyuvin, and Yujin.
On January 12, YH Entertainment published a new statement, explaining that they were currently working with the four members to "thoughtfully shape their next steps" and "review and align various paths."
Fans had hoped the statement would give some indication of whether ZEROBASEONE would remain as a group after their scheduled disbandment date; but instead, many were disappointed by the vague and cryptic nature of the notice.
ZEROBASEONE debuted in 2023, formed from the audition program 'Boys Planet.' While ZEROBASEONE has always been designated as a temporary project group, set to disband after 2.5 years, their popularity has led many fans to hope that the companies involved in the group's creation would allow ZEROBASEONE to remain as a permanent group.
That hope was further sparked by the recent extension of ZEROBASEONE's contract, setting their new disbandment date to March 2026 to allow them to complete their remaining activities.
Now, fans are disappointed and confused by YH Entertainment's new statement. Many are puzzled as to whether this means there's still potential for ZEROBASEONE to become a permanent group, or whether the statement means that Zhang Hao, Ricky, Gyuvin, and Yujin will be returning to YH Entertainment and leaving the group.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is currently preparing to release their upcoming special limited album “RE-FLOW,” and has recently released the track 'Running to Future.' They're also getting ready to complete the encore concerts for their world tour 'HERE&NOW.'
