SECRET is set to make a surprise return after 12 years, reuniting as a three-member group with a new lineup, according to multiple music industry sources on June 4.

Members Jun Hyoseong and Jung Hana have reportedly confirmed a reunion project, marking what insiders are calling SECRET’s second act.” The comeback will be their first group activity since Secret Summer in 2014, ending a long hiatus of approximately 12 years.

The project is being produced and overseen by RBW, which is expected to modernize SECRET’s classic identity by reintroducing their biggest hits through 2026 remake versions. The group will revisit their signature catalog, reworking well-known tracks to fit contemporary K-pop trends while maintaining their original charm.

However, the comeback will feature a restructured lineup. Following the departure of Han Sunhwa in 2016, and with Song Ji Eun currently focused on solo activities, SECRET will continue as a trio with the addition of a new member. Details about the new member have not yet been revealed and are expected to be announced at a later date.

Debuting in 2009, SECRET rose to fame with a string of hits including “Magic,” “Madonna,” “Shy Boy,” and “Starlight Moonlight,” establishing themselves as one of the defining girl groups of the early 2010s K-pop scene.

As of 2026, Jun Hyoseong has expanded her career into acting and broadcasting, while Jung Hana has remained active in entertainment through various individual projects. Their long-awaited return is already generating strong anticipation among fans eager to see how SECRET will reintroduce their legacy for a new generation.
