BLACKPINK's Rosé has set another record.

On September 18, Rosé’s music video for "APT." surpassed 2 Billion views on YouTube. Including BLACKPINK’s group records, this marks her third video to reach the milestone.

She broke the record for the fastest to reach this number in K-pop history. "APT.," which was pre-released on October 18 last year, hit 2 billion views in just 335 days, the quickest ever for a Korean artist. The previous record was held by PSY's "Gangnam Style," which took 684 days to hit 2 billion views.

Rosé has now become the first K-pop artist to hold 2 billion-view music videos both as a group member and as a soloist. With BLACKPINK, she already reached the milestone through "DDU-DU DDU-DU" and "Kill This Love."

"APT." is a track from Rosé’s first full-length solo album 'ROSIE,' released on December 6 last year. Upon release, it achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) on Korean music charts.

She has claimed both "first" and "best" titles, dominating the world’s two major pop charts. The song debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 4 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100.

She also became the first female K-pop artist to enter the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10, peaking at No. 3, another career high, powered by sustained global love.

Rosé was also named one of TIME magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World 2025," cementing her status as the face of a global phenomenon.

Most recently, on September 7, "APT." won Song of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, the most prestigious category, another first for a K-pop artist.

Meanwhile, since July, Rosé has been on the road with BLACKPINK’s ongoing 'DEADLINE' world tour.
