Yoo Jae Suk launches new Netflix reality show 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' with 'Kian's Bizarre B&B' director

Netflix has confirmed the production of a new reality variety show titled 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp,' featuring Korea’s top entertainer Yoo Jae Suk. The series is being developed in collaboration with director Jeong Hyo Min, best known for his work on the hit show 'Kian's Bizarre B&B.' This project continues Netflix’s expansion of its original B&B-themed variety programming.

The show will explore a unique guesthouse concept, led by Yoo Jae Suk as the host. It aims to deliver fresh entertainment through the chemistry between Yoo, the staff, and the guests, each bringing their own personality to the experience. The program is expected to offer laughter, warmth, and unexpected stories that appeal to a wide audience.

This marks Yoo Jae Suk’s first time stepping into the role of a B&B owner in his 34-year entertainment career. Previously, he was beloved for his warm, humorous presence in 'Family Outing,' where he built strong connections with cast members in a family-style format. Now, he returns as a friendly and hands-on host who personally welcomes and interacts with guests, offering a different kind of charm. The show’s playful slogan, “The guest is king, and Yoo Jae Suk is also king,” hints at a lighthearted and comical tone.

Guest applications for 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' will open on July 12. In the teaser video released by Netflix, Yoo announces, “This is a new kind of experiment on Netflix. I’m opening a camp!” Dressed in bright summer camp attire, blowing a whistle, and dancing cheerfully, Yoo creates an upbeat atmosphere that sets the stage for the show. He ends the video with a cheerful call to action: “If you want to hang out with me, apply now!”

Producer Lee So Min shared her excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to be launching a new B&B variety show with Yoo Jae Suk, one of Korea’s most iconic entertainers. 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' will be a unique experience that blends his humor, empathy, and variety show legacy into a refreshing new format.”

In addition to this new project, Netflix has also confirmed that 'Kian's Bizarre B&B' will return for Season 2. The first season, which offered viewers a mix of whimsical humor and heartfelt emotion through the unique lens of Kian84, was a major hit. It ranked No. 6 on Netflix’s global non-English TV chart shortly after its release in April and made the Top 10 lists in several countries, including South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

With both 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' and 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B Season 2' on the way, Netflix continues to invest in innovative Korean reality programming that blends humor, emotion, and creativity for a global audience.

Both series will be available exclusively on Netflix.
