Speculation has emerged regarding the timeline leading up to the reported breakup between Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho, with new claims suggesting that signs of emotional distance may have been noticeable several months before their reported separation.

On June 13, YouTube channel Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho released a video titled 'End of 14-Year Relationship! Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung Breakup Signs,' in which entertainment journalist Lee Jin Ho discussed the couple’s reported breakup and possible contributing factors.

According to the journalist, some observations from staff members who worked with Sooyoung on her drama 'I Dol I' pointed to changes in her demeanor during filming. She was described as appearing noticeably more withdrawn, with one staff member reportedly saying she seemed “full of worries and concerns.” While the production’s heavier themes may have influenced her emotional expression, it was also claimed that she appeared to have lower energy and a more subdued presence in private settings.

The drama was filmed around the summer and autumn of last year and concluded its broadcast at the end of the year. The journalist noted that it remains unclear whether these perceived emotional changes were connected to personal circumstances, including a possible breakup during that period or a gradual process of emotional strain.

The report also referenced Jung Kyung Ho’s appearance on Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon’s YouTube channel in December. According to the commentary, Sooyoung’s name was mentioned only briefly during the conversation, and not directly introduced by Jung Kyung Ho himself, which some interpreted as a subtle shift compared to his previous interviews where he spoke more openly about her.

In addition, the video claimed there were differing approaches among people close to the couple regarding how to handle the breakup news. Some individuals close to Jung Kyung Ho were reportedly in favor of keeping the matter private, while those closer to Sooyoung allegedly preferred a quicker public acknowledgment.

The discussion also addressed speculation that recent weddings among Girls’ Generation members, including Tiffany Young’s, may have influenced the breakup. Lee Jin Ho dismissed the idea, stating that long-term relationships are typically shaped by the couple’s own long-standing plans and decisions.

Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho, who publicly confirmed their relationship in 2012, were widely regarded as one of the entertainment industry’s longest-standing celebrity couples. Reports now suggest that they have recently ended their relationship after approximately 14 years together.
