Actress Han Go Eun announces drama comeback after 4 years

On March 12, Han Go Eun uploaded a video titled “The One Truly Important Standard When Choosing a Spouse, According to Han Go Eun Who Successfully Married at 41” on her personal YouTube channel. In the video, she held a Q&A session answering questions from fans to celebrate surpassing 100,000 subscribers.
During the session, Han Go Eun responded to a question about her acting comeback, revealing, “I’ll soon begin filming a drama, so I think I’ll be able to greet viewers around early June.” She added, “I’ll be appearing in a daily drama. Please show lots of love for the hard work I’ll be putting in,” expressing her excitement about returning to the screen.
Han Go Eun’s upcoming project marks her first drama appearance since the 2022 series 'There Is No Goo Pil Soo'. In recent years, the number of film and drama productions has sharply declined, affecting even well-known actors. Against this backdrop, news of Han Go Eun selecting a comeback project after four years has drawn positive attention.
Meanwhile, Han Go Eun’s husband, Shin Young Soo, who is four years younger than the actress, reportedly left his job in 2020 to care for his ailing father. Since then, Shin Young Soo has occasionally appeared on Han Go Eun’s YouTube channel, once joking, “Thanks to my wife, I’m living without worrying about money.”
As it has been reported that he has now been out of work for seven years, Han Go Eun’s decision to return to acting has attracted additional interest.
