Disney+ has released the official poster and main trailer for its upcoming original series 'Low Life,' teasing a gripping story of greed, deception, and survival centered around a legendary treasure ship in 1977.

Set in the waters off Sinan, the series follows a group of rural villagers who gather with hopes of claiming a rumored sunken treasure. The newly unveiled poster features an impressive ensemble cast including Ryu Seung Ryong, Yang Se Jong, Im Soo Jung, Kim Eui Sung, Kim Sung Oh, Lee Dong Hwi, and Jung Yunho. Each character looks in a different direction, hinting at the conflicting desires at play. The tagline "Lie. Steal. Survive." signals a tangled narrative of ambition and betrayal.

The trailer captures the high-stakes tension as various individuals converge on Sinan, each driven by personal motives. Among them is Song Sa Jang (Kim Jong Soo), who holds key clues about the treasure ship. Others include Yang Jung Sook (Im Soo Jung), Professor Kim (Kim Eui Sung), and other villagers lured by greed. Mokpo police officer Hong Gi (Lee Dong Hwi) also enters the fray, intensifying the unfolding drama.

As suggested by the line "No one can be trusted on the ship," the story develops into a brutal contest of loyalty, betrayal, and survival. A pivotal scene showing Oh Hee Dong (Yang Se Jong) standing face-to-face with the treasure ship adds a dramatic sense of scale and urgency to the series.

Director Kang Yoon Sung commented, "This is a character-driven story," and expressed confidence in the show's detailed recreation of the 1970s setting. Actor Ryu Seung Ryong added, "The story is filled with uncatchable desires and a sense of emptiness."

'Low Life' premieres on July 16, starting with its first three episodes. The series will release a total of 11 episodes, with new episodes arriving every Wednesday.
