Former CLC member and actress Kwon Eunbin announces retirement from entertainment industry after contract ends

Former CLC member and actress Kwon Eunbin reportedly stepped away from the entertainment industry following the termination of her exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment.

On May 22, according to the online wiki platform Namuwiki, Kwon directly requested the removal of her public profile. She stated, I am currently in a state of effectively suspending all entertainment activities, and my public profiles, including Naver, have also been taken down.”

She further explained her intention to withdraw from public life, saying, “I plan to return to living as a private citizen and keep a quiet life going forward. However, as the page remains publicly accessible, I continue to experience concerns regarding privacy exposure and personal burden. Therefore, I respectfully request the deletion of the article in accordance with my wishes.”

Earlier the same day, CUBE Entertainment announced via its official social media channels that, after lengthy discussions, the company had mutually agreed to terminate its exclusive contract with Kwon.

Kwon Eunbin first debuted in 2016 as a member of the girl group CLC. She later transitioned into acting in 2018 and appeared in various productions including 'Bad Papa,' 'Youth of May,' 'Dear.M,' and 'Hierarchy.'
