Park Na Rae draws line on comeback rumors, says 'Battle of Fates' was filmed long ago and no future plans decided

On February 4, a representative for Park Na Rae told Xports News, “'Battle of Fates' is a program that was filmed and completed a long time ago and is simply being released according to its scheduled premiere date.” They added, “It is not a program centered on Park Na Rae, so the production team did not separately share detailed information about the release schedule with her.”
The representative continued, “Although articles are framing this as a comeback, nothing has been decided regarding her future activities.” Earlier that day, Disney+ announced that its original variety show 'Battle of Fates' will premiere on February 11, unveiling a “fate” poster and trailer.
'Battle of Fates' is a survival style variety program in which 49 fortune tellers from various fields, including saju, tarot, and physiognomy, gather to test their own destinies through missions. The show features a lineup including Jun Hyun Moo, Park Na Rae, Park Ha Sun, Shindong, and Kang Ji Young.
Regarding Park Na Rae’s appearance and editing, the 'Battle of Fates' side told Xports News, “As this is a survival variety show involving multiple participants, Park Na Rae appears on the broadcast as one of several panelists.”
After news spread that Park Na Rae, who had suspended activities following various controversies, would be included in the show’s lineup and appear without being edited out, some interpreted the project as her “comeback work.” However, her side emphasized that the program’s release should not be viewed as an official return, reiterating that no decisions have been made about her future promotions.
