AmbiO enters the K-pop industry with their official debut with 'Boys Be Ambitious'

Rookie boy group AmbiO is stepping into the K-pop scene.

On March 18 at noon, AmbiO released their first mini-album, 'Boys Be Ambitious,' officially marking their debut.

'Boys Be Ambitious' tells the story of ambitious youths challenging the world, capturing AmbiO’s unique youthful energy and growth narrative. The album reflects the intensity of youth that transforms even imperfections into energy, signaling the beginning of AmbiO’s journey of growth in their own distinctive style.

The title track, “SHOWTIME,” is a high-energy performance song that instantly dominates the space and awakens the senses. Dynamic guitar riffs and straightforward beats are layered with rhythmic chants, creating an electrifying atmosphere from the first note. The call-and-response section in the latter half naturally engages listeners, breaking the boundary between stage and audience. True to its title, the song turns every moment into “SHOWTIME,” showcasing AmbiO’s energy and performance skills without restraint.

Other tracks on the album explore diverse genres and emotions. “First Love” captures the honest confessions of a boy and girl experiencing love for the first time. “Runnin’” is a dance-pop track that conveys youthful passion and freedom as they chase higher goals. “I Wish” layers a minimal trap sound with unique pluck tones and a sophisticated R&B mood. “Click” expresses the thrilling moment when eyes meet for the first time, capturing that spark in the heart. Since their pre-debut in September last year, AmbiO gained stage experience through numerous performances in Japan, proving their solid performance abilities and team identity even before their debut. AmbiO is a multinational five-member boy group composed of Tetsu, Jeesoo, Ruone, Kiwon, and Seungsang.
