Ahn Jae Hong cast as rational lawyer in suspense film 'The Uninvited,' joins Byun Yo Han and Ha Yoon Kyung

His agency, Management mmm, announced on June 29 that Ahn Jae Hong has been cast in the upcoming film 'The Uninvited' (working title), directed by Hur Jung. He will star alongside Byun Yo Han and Ha Yoon Kyung, raising anticipation for the trio's on-screen chemistry.
'The Uninvited' is a mystery thriller that follows Woo Jin, a man preparing to move into a new home on what is believed to be the luckiest day for moving. After his wife Hee Yeon begins exhibiting disturbing and unexplained symptoms, he encounters a shaman who insists that she must undergo a spiritual possession ritual.
Ahn Jae Hong takes on the role of Woo Jin, a pragmatic lawyer who refuses to abandon reason and logic even when confronted with bizarre supernatural events. As he struggles to uncover the truth behind the mysterious incidents, his character is expected to draw audiences deeper into the story.
"Ahn Jae Hong will portray Woo Jin's wide emotional range with remarkable depth," a production representative said. "Despite experiencing confusion, fear, and psychological turmoil, he continues to pursue the truth, heightening the film's tension."
The representative added, "Ahn has earned widespread recognition for his solid performances across a variety of genres. Through this project, he will reveal a new side of himself, and audiences can look forward to another compelling transformation."
Byun Yo Han has been cast as the talented shaman Tae Joo, marking his first on-screen collaboration with Ahn Jae Hong. Their acting chemistry is expected to be one of the film's highlights. Ha Yoon Kyung will play Hee Yeon, Woo Jin's wife.
'The Uninvited' officially began filming on June 14 and is now in full-scale production.
