Wendy, Young K, Kim Jaejoong, and more confirmed as masters for ENA’s new audition program 'The Scout'

ENA officially revealed the master lineup for its upcoming music audition program 'The Scout: Stars Reborn,' along with the release of its first teaser and official poster.

On April 17, the network confirmed that Lee Seung Chul, Kim Jaejoong, Wendy, Young K, and Choo Sung Hoon will serve as masters on the show, taking on the role of mentors who will guide contestants throughout their musical journeys.

'The Scout' is a growth-oriented music audition project focused on discovering “hidden gems,” meaning artists who have already debuted but have yet to fully showcase their potential. The program aims to help these contestants rediscover their artistry and rebuild their careers under the guidance of established industry figures.

Alongside the announcement, the production team released an official poster and teaser video. The poster shows the five masters standing together in a strong and commanding formation, highlighting their shared mission to identify and develop overlooked talent. Lee Seung Chul is placed at the center, anchoring the lineup with his strong presence, while Young K and Choo Sung Hoon add a grounded and intense energy. Kim Jaejoong and Wendy complete the lineup, representing a wide range of musical backgrounds and perspectives.

The teaser highlights the central concept of the show, “the rebirth of stars,” with the message, “A story of rising stars created by established stars.” In the video, Lee Seung Chul explains, “There are many people who debuted but were not able to find success and became discouraged. The goal is to bring them back and reboot them through music.”

The clip also introduces 16 contestants selected through closed auditions. After Lee Seung Chul announces, “Congratulations on becoming the muses of 'The Scout,'” the remaining masters, Kim Jaejoong, Wendy, Young K, and Choo Sung Hoon, appear one after another, marking the beginning of the contestants’ journey toward a new opportunity.

'The Scout: Stars Reborn' will premiere on Friday, May 8 at 7 PM KST.
