TXT’s Yeonjun withdraws from Japan schedule after family loss

On July 4, the group’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement announcing that Yeonjun will be absent from three major broadcasts scheduled between July 5 and 7: Nippon TV’s ‘THE MUSIC DAY 2025’, ‘MBC Show! Music Core in Japan’, and TBS’s ‘CDTV LIVE! LIVE!’.
The agency requested fans’ understanding and support, noting that Yeonjun will be taking time off to grieve with his family. Despite his absence, the remaining four members of TXT—Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai—will carry on with the scheduled performances.
Fans worldwide have taken to social media to express their condolences and offer words of comfort, sending Yeonjun strength during this difficult time.

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
We would like to inform you that TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun will not be participating in the upcoming events scheduled from July 5 to 7 in Japan—namely, Nippon TV’s ‘THE MUSIC DAY 2025’, MBC ‘Show! Music Core in JAPAN’, and TBS’s ‘CDTV LIVE! LIVE!’—due to a family bereavement.
We kindly ask for your warm support and understanding so that Yeonjun can take time to mourn with his family.
