Super Junior's Shindong candidly reveals he got nipple reduction surgery

Super Junior's Shindong brought laughter and made headlines after candidly confessing he had a nipple reduction surgery.

The Super Junior members recently gathered for their 20th anniversary and appeared on the YouTube channel show Channel Fullmoon's 'Nattering with Na.' On the video titled '(Congrats) Super Junior's 20th anniversary natter' uploaded on July 11, Super Junior members joined to spend time together with producer Na Young Seok.

During the talk, Shindong confessed he received nipple reduction surgery because of a variety show. He shared he had been the main MC for the children's show 'Popopo' for six years and recalled a hilarious episode. He started by saying, "I remember, before filming, we did the practice with all the children and were about to start. Suddenly, the producer stopped the song and came to me." He continued, "He whispered in my ear, 'Shindong, your nipples are showing too much.' My outfit was too tight, so they (nipples) were showing too much."

Kyuhyun also recalled that time and added, "Hyung, didn't you get surgery because of that?" and Shindong confessed, "Yeah. I got the nipple reduction surgery," shocking the members.

Shindong elaborated on his experience and shared, "These stood out so much..." Eunhyuk interjected in shock and asked, "Did you take them off ?" making the other members burst out in laughter.

Shindong continued, "I still have them. It's called nipple reduction surgery. It just makes them smaller. When you first get it, though, it feels like there's nothing there." He then added, "But the doctor says it comes back out," which made the members laugh even further.

Meanwhile, Shindong debuted with Super Junior in 2005 and has been actively working across various fields, including variety shows, stage performances, and music video directing.

Super Junior recently returned to group activities with their special 20th anniversary album 'Super Junior 25,' which is their 12th full album released on July 8. They are also set to embark on 'Super Show 10' with a tour opener in Seoul at the KSPO Dome from August 22-24.
