YOUNG POSSE launches new year with digital single 'VISA / Pilot3'

Group YOUNG POSSE is set to release the digital single 'VISA / Pilot3'.

YOUNG POSSE (Jung Sunhye, Wi Yeonjeong, Jiana, Doeun, and Han Jieun) will release 'VISA / Pilot3' on January 27th KST, through various music platforms. The digital single contains two tracks: the title song “VISA” and the B-side “Pilot3 (feat. KOONTA).”

The title track “VISA” falls within the rage genre and captures Gen Z sensibilities in a raw and unfiltered way, highlighted by an intense and addictive sound that feels almost electrifying. The members personally wrote lyrics reflecting the emotions they experienced while performing across numerous international stages in Asia, North America, Europe, and beyond. Like stamps filling up a passport, the song showcases YOUNG POSSE’s bold growth drawn from their experiences on various stages.

The music video, released alongside the track, portrays the members freely moving to rhythms built from the noise of the city. Through dynamic artistic approaches such as collage techniques and rapid frame transitions, the video promises a fresh visual experience that breaks conventional boundaries.

In both music and visuals, YOUNG POSSE presents a distinctly current and trendy appeal, showing off their signature rough and raw energy with a hip edge. The music video was directed by Kyowa Touch, known for working on numerous videos for popular hip-hop artists in North America and Japan, further enhancing the project’s unique visual identity.

The B-side “Pilot3 (feat. KOONTA)” expresses the five members’ confident ambition to become “pilots of music” and fly freely wherever they wish, set over a warm jazz hip-hop sound. All members contributed to the lyrics, embedding a determination to rise higher while trusting their dreams despite cynical perspectives. KOONTA, a prominent figure in Korea’s reggae scene known for his gritty yet expressive vocals, adds musical synergy through his feature.

Through VISA / Pilot3, YOUNG POSSE officially kicks off their activities for the new year. With distinctive music and visuals marking a fresh transformation, the group aims to once again prove their wide spectrum while expanding emotional resonance with listeners of their generation through autobiographical storytelling.
