BLACKPINK becomes the first musical artist to reach 100 million YouTube subscribers

On February 20, global girl group BLACKPINK has officially surpassed 100 million subscribers on YouTube, making history as the first-ever musical artist to reach this milestone.
The group joined the platform on June 29, 2016, achieving the feat in nine years and seven months. BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel features a total of 648 videos—including music videos, teasers, behind-the-scenes footage, and recaps—with a staggering 41 billion cumulative views overall.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to make their highly-anticipated return to the music industry on February 27 with their third mini-album ‘DEADLINE.’
The girl group recently wrapped up their ‘DEADLINE’ world tour with a three-night shows at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium.
