In a new interview with Lehren Retro, music composer Aadesh Shrivastava's wife Vijayta Pandit she was revealed that her son was not getting any support from the film industry. She also requested her late husband's good friend Shah Rukh Khan to help her son's career. She said that when her husband was in the hospital, Shah Rukh Khan used to come and meet. She said that one day before he died, Aadesh held Shah Rukh's hand, when he could not even talk and gestured pointing towards her son that he should look after him. She said that she was not able to contact Shah Rukh as the number that was given to my son is not working.
In the same interview, Vijayta said that celebrities used to have parties at home, celebrities used to come, drink, eat and go. She said that after Aadesh's death it is just her and her son. She said that actor Tiger Shroff has been with her son all the time and even tells Avitesh not to touch his father's work as it is precious. Vijayta reveals that Tiger gives her son courage after everything.
Vijayta Pandit spoke her heart out about her relationship with her first co-star Kumar Gaurav. The two starred in their debut film Love Story 1981. She said that clarified she had nothing to do with Kumar Gaurav and Raj Kapoor's daughter Reema Jain's engagement being called off. She said that he was fond of her and would keep following her. She said that his father and the film's producer Rajendra Kumar was very angry over their bond. He would drink alcohol and tell Bunty, he was his prince, and that he should marry a princess. She said that Bunty would retaliate and tell his father that he loves her. Soon, Raj Kapoor decided to get Kumar Gaurav and Reema engaged.
Vijayta revealed that when Akon came to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding, he called her son Avitesh. He told him to come and pick him up after he arrived from a private jet. He also told her son that he came to do some music work with him. The two arrived at the studio and worked on their song the entire night. She said that Akon was suppose to leave for America the next morning. She said that they did 2 songs together.
Vijayta Pandit revealed that when Kumar Gaurav got married, she did movies with Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Rajinikanth and more. But fans wanted to see Kumar Gaurav and Vijayta together on-screen. She said that she and Bunty got did not get limelight after Love Story.
During her candid interview, Vijayta spoke about Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh's secret romance. She said that while filming Betaab Sunny and Amrita grew closer to each other.
Vijayta said that after her husband's death Amitabh Bachchan who was close friend of his stopped coming to their house. She said that Big B came when her son Avitesh's first song released. She even said that he used to come to their studio, but now he has his own studio at his place. She even revealed that Big B even took their sound engineer with him. She said that Big B does not contact much, but he should do something for her son.
Vijayta spoke about Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia's lovestory. She said that while filming romantic scenes the feelings often extend beyond the screen. She said that Rishi and Dimple’s romance blossomed during the making of Bobby.
