Even though the actor has delivered some amazing performances throughout his career of almost two decades, there have been times when he doubted himself. Recently in an interview, Junior B opens up on having thoughts of quitting acting and some solid advice his father gave him back then.
In an interview, Abhishek Bachchan talked about the time when he was struggling to make it big in the film industry. The Dostana actor had thoughts of quitting and shared, "I have been in such situations. At the start of my career, I was going through a very rocky time with my films. No matter what I was trying, I wasn’t able to achieve whatever I wanted to achieve and match the standards that I had set for myself.
In the same interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, the Dhoom actor shared the advice given by his father, Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh. Abhishek revealed, "I remember going to my father one night and saying that I have made a mistake and no matter what I am trying, it is not working. Maybe, this is the way of the world telling me that this is not for you. He was amazing. He said, 'I am telling you as an actor and not your father, you have a long way to go; you are nowhere near the finished product but you are improving with every film. Just keep working and you will get there."
Abhishek has been busy with the promotions of his feel-good family drama titled, Be Happy. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film also stars Nora Fatehi, Nasser, and Inayat Verma in pivotal roles. The movie was released on Amazon Prime on March 14. Abhishek's next is an action thriller titled King, which is helmed by Siddharth Anand. The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhay Verma. The shooting is expected to go on slow in June this year.
