by Pooja Darade · BollywoodLife.comTriptii Dimri is one of the most promising talents of the Hindi film industry. From Laila Majnu to Qala, the actress has proved that she can portray any role to perfection. However, in 2023, the actress made a bold choice in her career by being a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. Also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, Triptii's choice of being a part of the action thriller was questioned by many. Some even wondered why she would sign up for a project where her talent is overshadowed by the bold scenes.
Triptii Dimri on being overly sexualised
Last year, Triptii Dimri appeared in Bad Newz, which was her first release after Animal. Even the movie with Vicky Kaushal didn't receive a good response. When asked about the criticism for her choices, the actress said that she is unfazed as she wants to give 100 percent to what she does. If she finds the story and character interesting, she wants to give it her best.
"We won’t always be liked by everybody. There will be some people who like you and some who don’t. You can’t keep all that noise in mind. You have to follow your heart and do things that you feel are right," said the Qala actress. In the same interview with Forbes India, Triptii was asked about being "overtly sexualised" in Animal and if she is trying to move away from the image. The actress stated that she is going with the flow.

"The aim is to play different characters because I don’t want to go to a set and feel bored. I want to feel challenged and wonder, ‘How will this happen?’—and then make it happen'," Triptii Dimri concluded. Meanwhile, the actress was recently in the news for being dropped out of Aashiqui 3 with Kartik Aaryan. Some media reports stated that the makers wanted someone with "pure demeanour" and called her "too exposed." However, the movie's director, Anurag Basu, clarified that these claims are untrue.
