The film's much-awaited release date teaser was unveiled on Haasan’s 70th birthday, November 7, 2024. The makers had revealed earlier that the film will be released on June 5, 2025.
During the press conference that was held in Chennai, superstar Kamal Haasan talked about his upcoming film and the experience of working with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam. During his speech, Kamal revealed the reason why he reunited with Mani. "We are together because of you," he explained. Yes, he credited the viewers for urging him to join forces with Mani. He also referred to showbiz as a democratic art. "This is democratic art and I'm happy to be part of it," he added. "When good talent come, we will let that emerge," he further said.
As evident from the teaser, Kamal impresses fans as he sports a rugged beard in combat scenes. He looks equally stunning in shots that put forth his character's younger, clean-shaven version. The film also features Silambarasan TR, who appears in the teaser celebrating Holi and carrying a blood-soaked weapon.
