As reported by Sacnilk.com, Chhaava's day 8 collection was approximately Rs 23 crore. These are the early estimates. On its second Friday, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's film earned more than Rs 20 crore continuing its strong hold at the box office. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 242.25 crore as per the portal. The first week collection of the film was about Rs 219 crore. On first Thursday, i.e, day 7, Chhaava made around Rs 21.5 crore at the box office. On first Wednesday, it reportedly made around Rs 32 crore. First Tuesday numbers were approximately Rs 25.25. On first Monday, it made Rs 24 crore. The film registered the highest box office business on First Sunday, day 3, as it made around Rs 48.5 crore on its day 3.
Chhaava is now only a few crores short from entering the Rs 250 crore club with its India collection. The movie has become Vicky Kaushal's highest grossing film ever has it has beat URI: The Surgical Strike. It has also become the highest grossing film of the year 2025 so far. As per the reports, the movie has already crossed the mark of Rs 300 crore with its worldwide business.
Not just the audience, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi is impressed with Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. During his speech at 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi, Narendra Modi mentioned the film and said, "Ye Maharashtra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmo ke saath saath, Hindi cinema ko ye unchai di hai. Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai. (It is Maharashtra and Mumbai that have elevated Hindi cinema along with Marathi films. And these days, Chhaava is making waves.)"
