Singer Monali Thakur has been reportedly rushed to a hospital in Cooch, West Bengal after she fell sick during a live performance. She stopped the concert midway and apologised to the audience.

A video has gone viral on social media that has Monali Thakur apologising to the crowd saying that she is feeling extremely sick and would not be able to continue the performance.
Monali Thakur struggles to breathe, rushed to hospital
The event took place on Tuesday evening. In the video, Monali Thakur is reportedly saying, "I sincerely apologise to you. I am very sick today. The show was on the verge of getting cancelled." Reports suggest that the singer was first taken to Dinhata Sub-District Hospital. She was then taken to a private hospital in Cooch by her team in an ambulance where she is undergoing treatment, reports News18. The singer is yet to share any update about her health with fans.
Monali Thakur is best known for crooning songs like Sawar Loon, Moh Moh Ke Dhage, Cham Cham, Badri Ki Dulhania and many more.
Recently, the singer made it to the headlines after she slammed the organisers of a live show held in Varanasi for poor arrangements. A video went viral on social media wherein she complained about the poor infrastructure and said that it could have injured her and her dancers. She said, "Time and again, I've said that I could injure my ankle here. My dancers have been telling me to calm down, but everything was a mess. We were trying because I am answerable to you all, and you come for me, right? So, you will hold me accountable for all of this." She walked out of the live show within 45 minutes. Later, she penned a note on Instagram talking about the reckless behaviour of event management company.
