Exclusive: Vidya Balan and Shah Rukh Khan in a mature love story? Actress reacts

In an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife, Vidya Balan gets candid about her movies and if she would work with Shah Rukh Khan.

Vidya Balan is currently basking in the success of her recently released movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. In the Anees Bazmee directorial, she returns as the iconic Manjulika, a character she played in the 2007 movie. The horror comedy also stars Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. BB3 is Vidya's second release of 2024. The actress also appeared in the film Do Aur Do Pyaar with Pratik Gandhi.

BollywoodLife spoke to Vidya Balan about her movies, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 success and much more. We asked the actress if she is aware of the fan edits being made of her and Shah Rukh Khan, as many want them the duo to do a mature love story together. The Kahaani actress was quite surprised to know how much fans want them to star in a movie together. But would she love to do a movie with SRK?

When asked the same, Vidya Balan answered, "Yeah, I would love that. Firstly, I am a sucker for romances and a mature love story would be great. But it should be mature and fun and with Shah Rukh Khan, why not?" The actress revealed that people did tell her they wanted to see her and Khan in a movie together. But she wasn't aware of the creatives being made by the duo by some fans online.

When asked about the kind of roles she is looking forward to now at this stage of her career, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 star said, "I want to do an out-and-out comedy and a badass, negative character. There are so many kinds of women I have still not played. Lots of work to do."
