Actress Adrija Roy has finally reacted on the comparison between both shows. She took to social media and explained how the story of Anupama could be similar to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She also mentioned that the track was an instant hit with the viewers. She further added, "If it is being copied, what is wrong in it?" She agreed to the fact that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was a hit and Anupamaa has also been doing well. Adrija also stated that viewers' opinions don't matter. She further elaborated on the fact that the viewers have often been served sequences in shows that have been inspired by films. And if such sequences have been accepted, then the viewers shouldn't have any issues in watching shows that borrow the plot from other popular serials.

"Dekho, ho sakta hai ke tracks same ho. But it is good only right? Us wakt par wo track super hit tha, toh agar wo track super hit tha, toh agar wo recreate kar rahe hai hum toh isme galat kya hai? I think kisi bhi tarah ke comparisons ki jarurat nahi hai. Uss time par wo show hit tha and I think it is working for us too," she added. "Mujhe toh mazaa aa raha hai kaam karte huye. Kahi baar aap ne dekha hoga ke kuch scenes hum films se bhi inspire ho kar karte hai, toh if that is okay, then why not this? And at the end of the day, the point is that people are liking the show and the story, toh baaki cheeze do not matter much," she added.
