Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are considered one of the best onscreen pairs in Bollywood. The duo has acted in several movies like Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan and others. The duo often calls each other best friends. But did you know there was a time when things were not well between the two of them?

When things weren't okay between SRK and Kajol

In 2012, Shah Rukh Khan's movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan clashed with Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar. It was one of those big box office clashes of Bollywood. None of them were willing to change the release date. JTHJ was director Yash Chopra's last movie. The filmmaker passed away before he could even watch the film release in theatres. At that time, Ajay openly spoke about the clash and how Kajol wasn't invited for the movie's premiere.

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Ajay Devgn revealed that he was told by some people to move the release date of Son of Sardaar as a mark of respect for Yash Chopra. The Singham Again star said in the 2014 interview that it is business and he cannot kill himself. "I had given the industry an option; I am willing to do that but its business; you give me space," the actor said.

Further in this entertainment news, Ajay Devgn was asked why Kajol, who gave YRF one of their most loved movies, DDLJ, with Shah Rukh Khan, was absent from the Jab Tak Hai Jaan movie premiere. To this, Ajay responded that his wife wasn't invited for the screening. ""Kajol was not invited for the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which I feel is very petty. This shows the pettiness of someone else," revealed Ajay.
