The Honor Magic9 series will debut in China on September 28, the company confirmed in a post on Weibo.
Honor has not revealed how many models will launch as part of the lineup, although a recent leak claimed that the company could unveil the Magic9 alongside the Magic9 Pro or Magic9 Pro Max.
The launch teasers also confirm that the phone will feature a dual 200MP rear camera setup. This includes a 200MP 1/1.28-inch primary sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and a 200MP 1/1.4-inch telephoto sensor with an f/2.6 aperture. The handset will also support a new 500mm teleconverter kit, along with the existing 200mm teleconverter.
As for the design, the Honor Magic9 series will feature a large rectangular rear camera module with three cutouts. The largest cutout on the left houses the telephoto camera, LED flash, and ARRI logo, while the other two cameras sit alongside it in separate circular cutouts.
The handset is shown in a new Moss Green colorway. It will feature a pill-shaped camera cutout at the front for the selfie camera and a 3D ToF sensor. The Magic9 Pro/Pro Max is rumored to be the first Android phones to feature a square selfie sensor.
As mentioned earlier, the lineup is available for pre-order in China.
Meanwhile, Honor has also confirmed that it will unveil its new MagicOS 11 Android skin next week.
