Adam Sandler, whose most famous on-screen job before Friday was playing Robbie Hart in the 1998 film, officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026.
Swift’s rep confirmed the news in a statement to media, calling Sandler a “friend” of the couple and saying the ceremony “joined both families together.” Nearly three years after Swift first turned up in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium next to Donna Kelce, they made it official inside the World’s Most Famous Arena.
The couple both wore Christian Dior Haute Couture by Jonathan Anderson, the designer’s first couture wedding dress for what the statement called “a world-renowned celebrity.” Shoes were custom Christian Louboutin. Swift wore Cartier.
There were no bridesmaids and no groomsmen. Austin Swift stood as his sister’s man of honor. Jason Kelce was Travis’s best man.
Outside on Seventh Avenue, a giant screen lit up with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!”, confirming to everyone still speculating on the sidewalk that the fan theory about MSG had been right all along.
