Zendaya Walked the Emmys Carpet in a Custom Prada Crystal Naked Dress and a Brand-New Pixie Cut

She turned up as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, capping the final Euphoria run at the 78th Emmys on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. She didn’t win, and she also presented during the show.

The gown was custom Prada: a nude illusion-mesh base packed with silver crystals and beads in clusters and cascading tiers, a plunging deep-V neckline, a defined sparkling waistband, and a short train. Stylist Law Roach oversaw the ensemble, and he said the dress inspired an even shorter trim on her hair.

That hair was the other headline. Coree Moreno cut a brunette pixie he called “The Modern Sculpted Pixie,” a piece-y, tousled take with Halle Berry early-2000s references. Ernesto Casillas built a glowing, late-’90s makeup look using an all-Prada Beauty lineup.

The finishing touches came from Mikimoto’s Les Pétales collection: floral earrings with 12-mm White South Sea cultured pearls and roughly 4.4 carats of diamonds, plus matching rings and a bracelet. A diamond-covered Rolex Lady Datejust added more sparkle, and she left her neckline bare to let the dress carry the look.
