Guests who later spoke to CBS Mornings and Good Morning America shared one part of Swift’s vows in particular. She told the room that Kelce, a star athlete in high school, used to sit with the less popular and bullied kids at lunch. Then she said she wished she’d known someone like him back then.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, in front of around 1,000 guests. Adam Sandler officiated. Paul McCartney performed. Swift wore custom Christian Dior, her brother Austin stood as man of honor, and Kelce’s brother Jason was best man.
They both wrote their own vows and read them from little books, and guests said each set ran close to 20 minutes. Swift reportedly sang parts of hers. Kelce got emotional. The couple had handed out handkerchiefs to the crowd beforehand.
