Netflix has officially unveiled the trailer for its upcoming drama series, Below. The six-part limited series stars Josh Hartnett and is set to make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before launching on the streaming platform.

Set off the coast of Newfoundland, the story follows Calvin Penney (Hartnett), a stubborn small-town fisherman haunted by the mysterious death of his father decades prior. When a terrifying, unidentified sea creature begins terrorizing the local waters, Calvin is forced into action. He teams up with a visiting marine researcher (Mackenzie Davis) to protect his son Wade (Charlie Heaton) and his community, racing to uncover the island’s buried secrets before it’s too late.

Created by Jesse McKeown, the project blends local mythology, suspense, and humor to explore deeper themes of family, community, and change. The ensemble cast features Ruby Stokes, Kaleb Horn, Rohan Campbell, and Willow Kean.
