Epic Games has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest cultural convergence, welcoming the chaotic world of South Park to Fortnite with the “Born in Chaos” update. Launching January 9, the event seamlessly integrates the show’s satirical edge into the meta, offering players a mix of new cosmetics, gameplay items, and map changes that pay homage to the long-running animated series.

The update introduces a suite of gameplay-altering mythics rooted deeply in the show’s lore. Players can now control the Storm with the “Stick of Truth,” utilize “Cheesy Poofs” for dual-purpose healing and damage dealing, or deploy “Kenny’s Respawn Token” for an automatic reboot. The map itself sees the addition of the Cartmanland POI and a new “Quints” 5-person playlist situated on the Golden Coast.

For collectors, the drop is headlined by the arrival of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters in the Item Shop. Additionally, a free “Born in Chaos” Pass allows players to unlock 13 themed items without spending V-Bucks. By completing specific quests, users can secure the “Backpack of CRED” Back Bling, the “Terrance and Phillip” Pickaxe, and the “Cheesy Poofs Rocketship” Emote, with the “Imaginationland Airship” Glider serving as the final reward.

The “Born in Chaos” event is live now and will run through February 5, giving players just under a month to secure all exclusive rewards.
