As per Deadline, the upcoming film will deliver “the hallmarks of what players love about the games,” although no specific details such as a plot or casting have been revealed. Berg and Sheridan will co-write and produce, with the former also serving as director.

Reports broke ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s release in November. Call of Duty continues to be one of the most successful video game franchises in history.
