Bad Bunny, Chuwi Take the Latin Grammys on a ‘Weltita’ to Puerto Rico

Bad Bunny is capping off a banner year as the most-nominated artist at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards — and delivered one last TV performance before kicking off his world tour. The Puerto Rican superstar hit the stage with Chuwi for a rendition of “Weltita” from his Debí Tirar Más Fotos album.

The rising boricua band kicked things off with a dreamy rendition of their song “Tikiri.” Then Bad Bunny joined them onstage in a gingham puffy hoodie and shorts, white knee-high socks peeking out as he hopped around a set, which was lit up like a futuristic tropical landscape, with lights mimicking palm trees.

This year, Bad Bunny received 10 Latin Grammy nominations for his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. By the time he made it onto the stage, he had already won four awards for Best Urban Performance, Best Reggaeton Performance, Best Urban Music Album, and Best Urban Song.

The Puerto Rican singer is also up for Album of the Year, and Song of the Year and Record of the Year for both “Baile Inolvidable” and “DTMF.” Chuwi, which hails from the town of Isabela in Puerto Rico, is one of the featured acts on Debí Tirar Más Fotos. Chuwi’s vocalist Lorén Aldarondo joined the singer during the entirety of his No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency in Puerto Rico.

Bad Bunny kicked off the year with his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which became his fourth Billboard 200 chart-topper. He also amped up his acting career with his appearance in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2 sequel and Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing.

Next year, Bad Bunny is set to make history at Super Bowl LX, where he will become the first artist to perform a headlining set at the halftime show completely in Spanish. The game will take place at Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area. Bad Bunny is scheduled to launch his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour on November 21 in the Dominican Republic.
