‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Teaser Trailer Previews Latest Fairy-Tale Romance
· Rolling StoneLady Whistledown teases a new, lusty season of Netflix‘s hit series Bridgerton. The fourth season of the Shondaland show will premiere in two parts, the first of which will roll out on the streamer Jan. 29 followed by the second part on Feb. 26.
Set at a masquerade ball, the teaser trailer previews that the Bridgerton sibling to find love this season is second son Benedict, played by Luke Thompson. His love interest will be Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha. According to Netflix’s description, Benedict is the bohemian son of the Bridgerton family who had been avoiding settling down unlike his brothers Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Colin (Luke Newton) who had found wives in previous seasons of the show. That all changes at his mother’s masquerade ball where he meets the silver-clad Sophie.
The fourth season will feature a slew of familiar faces from the franchise, including Bailey and Newton as well as Victor Alli as Lord John Stirling, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, and Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton.

Based on author Julia Quinn’s romance series of the same name, the fourth season marks the halfway point of the series overall as each season focuses on the eight Bridgerton siblings’ pursuit of love. Netflix has already renewed Bridgerton for Seasons Five and Six.
The remaining siblings meant to be spotlighted in future seasons are Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Francesca (Hannah Dodd), Gregory (Will Tilston), and Hyacinth (Florence Hunt).
