Mariah Carey’s 1994 seasonal favorite “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the 20th nonconsecutive week, and in doing so, it becomes the longest-running No. 1 hit in the chart’s history. Carey’s holiday staple passes “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey and “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X, both of which have spent 19 weeks atop the Hot 100. What’s more, this is the 77th week that “All I Want for Christmas” has been on the Hot 100, and that ties Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” as the longest-charting song by a female artist.

Carey is no stranger to long stands atop the Hot 100. Prior to “Old Town Road,” Carey held the record for most weeks at No. 1 with “One Sweet Day,” her her 1995 collaboration with Boyz II Men. That single spent 16 weeks at the summit.

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” has also been doing numbers on Genius, and it’s currently parked at No. 8 on the Genius Top Songs chart. In terms of holiday tunes, it sits behind “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night,” “Mary, Did You Know” and of course Wham!’s “Last Christmas,” which holds firm at No. 1 on the chart.
