Maa Inti Bangaaram director Nandini Reddy confirmed speculation surrounding Samantha Ruth Prabhu's pregnancy. The filmmaker's recent remarks come days after social media was abuzz with discussions about the actor's pregnancy.

Speaking to Cinema Express, Nandini said, "Her pregnancy comes at a beautiful time, as our film, Maa Inti Bangaaram, has become a success." Nandini further added that Samantha's appearance at the success meet was a "conscious choice," a comment that only intensified the speculation online.

Pregnancy speculation first gained momentum after Samantha, 39, attended the success celebration of the latest release alongside filmmaker-husband Raj Nidimoru Raj and members of the film's team. Photos and videos from the event quickly went viral, with several social media users claiming they saw a baby bump.

However, a source close to the actor confirmed the news to India Today and said that the actor is due at the end of the year.

The couple is yet to make an official announcement on social media.

Samantha and filmmaker-producer Raj Nidimoru dated for a significant period before getting married in December 2025. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the abode of Linga Bhairavi Devi within the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.

Meanwhile, Samantha is currently enjoying the success of Maa Inti Bangaaram. The film's Sunday numbers added the biggest boost yet, pushing the film’s overall three-day India nett total past the Rs 25-crore mark, according to box office tracker Sacnilk.
