The trailer of Alpha has been released, with a brief moment in the video hinting at a surprise appearance by Hrithik Roshan. The two-minute and 33-second trailer suggests that Roshan may return as Major Kabir Dhaliwal in the Alia Bhatt and Sharvari spy thriller, also featuring actors Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in key roles.

In Alpha's action-packed trailer, Alia and Sharvari's characters are shown entering a monastery. A short glimpse in the video teases the possible appearance of Hrithik's character from War 2, Major Kabir Dhaliwal.

Hrithik has previously featured as Kabir in Yash Raj Films' War 2 (2025), directed by Ayan Mukerji and its prequel War (2019), helmed by director Siddharth Anand. While War 2 featured Jr NTR, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana and Varun Badola, War starred Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in key roles. Hrithik also had a cameo in the end credits of Salman Khan's 2023 espionage-thriller Tiger 3.

The trailer reveals that Alia's character, Sita, has been weaponised for elite operations, teaming up with a fellow operative, played by Sharvari. The project also features Anil Kapoor reprising his role as RAW chief Vikrant Kaul, whom audiences previously met in War 2. Though the footage maps out a significant portion of the plot, characters, and a notable cameo, the narrative’s foundation is deeply rooted in sage Valmiki's epic Ramayana.

Marking the seventh instalment in YRF’s celebrated spy franchise, the upcoming movie features a story conceptualised by Uday Chopra. The screenplay has been co-penned by Soumil Shukla and Shridhar Raghavan, with debutant director Shiv Rawail—son of veteran director Rahul Rawail—stepping behind the camera to helm the project.

Alpha is set for a theatrical release on July 3.
