- Ridhi Dogra condemned Pahalgam terror attack on social media
- Her film 'Abir Gulaal' has been halted due to collaboration with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan
- 'Abir Gulaal' won't release in India amid tensions, announced film federation
Actor Ridhi Dogra has come down heavily on the terrorists who carried out the ghastly attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of at least 26 people. She recalled how Kashmir, which was flourishing, has been attacked by terrorists yet again. This comes amid the film federation's ban against her upcoming film 'Abir Gulaal' for collaborating with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
Dogra, on her X post, wrote, "I think it's about time the good Muslims stepped up and rejected the monsters and CALLED THEM OUT! Break ties with people and places that remain silent or deep down have ties elsewhere. Because repeatedly terror is coming from one place (sic)."
The post further mentioned, "They're ruining humanity. They're running faith. Kashmir was flourishing and govt did so much, had so many plans in place to make it good for business. But we all know who doesn't want that. Very personal opinion but it's time to stop being gracious for monsters in the name of humanity. Stand up for India (sic)."

Ridhi Dogra is also in the news after the release of her upcoming film, 'Abir Gulaal', has been halted as it features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), in the wake of the ghastly Pahalgam terror attack, once again reiterated the 2019 directive of Indians collaborating with Pakistani artists.
"In the wake of these repeated attacks, FWICE reaffirms its unwavering commitment to national interest and solidarity. We reiterate our directive, originally issued on February 18, 2019, calling for complete non-cooperation with all Pakistan artists, singers, and technicians within the Indian film and entertainment industry," a part of the statement read.
The FWICE also stated that 'Abir Gulaal' will not be released in India amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan.
"Despite this ongoing directive, we have been made aware of the recent collaboration with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan for the Hindi film Abir Gullal. In light of the recent attack in Pahalgam, FWICE is once again compelled to issue a blanket boycott on all Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians participating in any Indian film or entertainment projects. This includes performances or collaborations occurring anywhere in the world," the statement read.
The statement further mentioned, "FWICE would like to emphasise that any member of our organisation or its affiliate associations such as the actors, directors, other technicians and Producers or the Production houses found cooperating with Pakistani personnel will be subject to disciplinary action. Further, we will take all necessary steps to ensure that Abir Gulaal is not released in India."
'Abir Gulaal', also starring Vaani Kapoor and Soni Razdan, was slated for a grand release on May 9 worldwide.
