The trailer of actor Vaani Kapoor's new series-'Mandala Murders' was released on Tuesday, July 15. She plays an investigating officer probing the suspicious deaths in the mysterious town of Charandaspur.

In the trailer released by Netflix India, Kapoor, who portrays Rea Thomas, comes across shocking incidents of brutal killings. Actor Vaibhav Raj Gupta as Vikram Singh portrays her teammate, investigating the murders. Rea faces numerous challenges as she deals with the political pressure to find the culprits.

It is later revealed that these were no ordinary crimes but a chilling conspiracy of ritualistic killings tied to a centuries-old secret society. Rea and his team fight suspects to unravel the mystery around the mythological world of Mandala and sorcery related to it.

As the mystery deepens, each character finds themselves ensnared in ancient beliefs and buried truths — discovering a chilling secret cult hiding in plain sight.

Actors Shriya Pilgaonkar, Siddhanth Kapoor, Rahul Bagga, Raghubir Yadav, and Monica Choudhary also play pivotal roles in the show. Gopi Puthran, creator and director of 'Mandala Murders' said, "From the start, our goal with Mandala Murders was to create a world that feels unknown yet grounded—where every truth has layers and every answer leads to more questions."

Manan Rawat, who has co-directed the film, further said, "Every episode adds another piece to the puzzle - challenging everything you think you know. With Netflix we were able to craft a world that’s as visually compelling as it is emotionally charged—where every frame deepens the suspense, and every character leaves an impact."

The series is backed by YRF Entertainment and executive produced by Aditya Chopra, Uday Chopra, Yogendra Mogre and Akshaye Widhani. 'Mandala Murders' is yet another creative collaboration between Netflix and Yash Raj Films after 'The Railway Men' (2023).

The show is scheduled to release on July 25 on Netflix.
