Actor Vijay Deverakonda delivered a heartfelt speech for Rashmika Mandanna at their Kodagu (Coorg) reception on April 6. During the event, he expressed his fondness for the region and shared personal memories connected to the place. This is the couple's first visit to Coorg after their February 26 wedding in Udaipur. Apart from celebrating Rashmika's 30th birthday, they visited Igguthappa temple in Karnataka.

He mentioned that this was his third visit to Kodagu, recalling that the first time was before he met Rashmika. He added that he had stayed at the house of one of her friends during an earlier visit, even though that friend was not present at the reception.

He said, "Next time I come I'd like to go around and see her childhood and life here. This is the third time I am here. The first time was before I even knew her, with my school friends - Coorg was our first holiday destination. I found out later that I had stayed in one of her friend's house (who was not there at the event)."

Vijay spoke warmly about the beauty of Kodagu, describing it as a beautiful place that he had grown very fond of over time. He also complimented the women from Kodagu, saying he always thought they were very beautiful even before meeting Rashmika.

"I've become so fond of this place, such a beautiful place. I always thought that women from here (Kodagu) are super beautiful, even before I met her. I think coorgi women are very beautiful, and I'm married to one, and I'm very happy. Lovely meeting and seeing you all here," he said.

The couple’s Kodagu reception brought together family and friends, celebrating their union in a traditional setting. Rashmika wore a traditional silk saree draped in Kodava style, embracing the local culture during the occasion. Vijay Deverakonda opted for a black blazer, white shirt and black trousers.

On the work front, Rashmika and Vijay resumed their work on their third on-screen collaboration, Ranabaali. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is scheduled for a grand release on September 11.
