Pushpa 2 box office Day 22: Allu Arjun film races past Rs 1,705 crore globally

Allu Arjun and director Sukumar's Pushpa 2: The Rule zoomed past Rs 1,700 crore worldwide in 21 days. On Day 22, the film, however, recorded its lowest-ever single-day collection since its release. For the first time, the film earned less than Rs 10 crore nett at the domestic box office. However, trade analysts predict that the numbers will witness an incline over the fourth weekend.

Pushpa 2 released in theatres on December 5 in multiple languages. The film has been having a record-breaking run in theatres.

According to tracking website, Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 reportedly earned Rs 9.6 crore nett in India on its 22nd day at the box office. While the Hindi version earned Rs 7.25 crore, the Telugu version collected Rs 2.02 crore nett. The third week collection of Pushpa 2 amounts to Rs 128.6 crore nett in India.

On December 26, Mythri Movie Makers, the film's production house, officially announced that Pushpa 2 is the fastest Indian film to earn a gross of Rs 1,705 crore worldwide.

The 22-day total of Pushpa 2 now stands at Rs 1,119.2 crore nett at the domestic box office. The Hindi version contributed Rs 723.9 crore and the Telugu version earned Rs 318.12 crore nett. In Tamil Nadu, Pushpa 2 minted Rs 55.6 crore nett.
