2025 Oscar nominations: Complete list of nominees for the 97th Academy Awards

The 97th Oscars celebrate groundbreaking achievements, led by "Emilia Pérez" with 13 nominations, including Karla Sofía Gascón's historic nod as the first openly trans actor recognized. The awards air March 2.

The nominees for the 97th Academy Awards are officially here, and they bring historic milestones to the forefront.

Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez, a French-made film in Spanish, leads the pack with an impressive 13 nominations, including Best Picture. Among its honors is a groundbreaking Best Actress nod for Karla Sof­a Gasc³n, marking her as the first openly trans actor to be nominated for an Oscar.

Originally slated for release on January 17, the nominations were delayed due to the devastating wildfires that swept through parts of Los Angeles on January 7. In response to the widespread destruction, the Academy extended its voting period and postponed the announcement twice.
